Two pubs in Melbournes west have announced they will be closing permanently after the new COVID roadmap was confirmed.
Both the Mona Castle in Seddon and the Morning Star in Williamstown have made the tough decision, saying the financial impact is too great.
The Victorian governments safe and steady pathway out of the states second wave is likely to keep Melbourne under strict lockdown until the end of October, with only minor tweaks.
