Aussies may famously be coffee snobs, but a cafe in Melbourne has earned the ire of online critics for charging $198 for a single cup.
Now the owner of Gesha Cafe in Melbourne’s east is defending the rare and expensive brew, which he likens in taste to “sake and Champagne”.
Veteran barista Ken Taing faced online backlash this week following a TV segment that dubbed his Yuzu-style Gesha brew ‘Melbourne’s most expensive coffee’.
