Mehajer wedding mansion sells for $7.2m as auctions boom – The Australian Financial Review
Nearly three-quarters of the more than 2000 homes that went to auction around the country this weekend sold, including a Sydney mansion.
Of the 756 results collected so far, 71.7 per cent were successful, down from the previous weeks preliminary clearance rate of 77.1 per cent, which was revised down to a final 70 per cent.
In the smaller cities, Canberra recorded the highest preliminary clearance rate at 78.4 per cent from 117 scheduled auctions, followed by Adelaide (75 per cent from 108 auctions).
Domain Group recorded a 78 per cent preliminary clearance rate in Sydney and 72.6 per cent in Melbourne, both up on the week before.
