Linda Meech will return to riding next year – after she has a baby.
The dual Group 1 winner of 1715 races confirmed on Wednesday that she is pregnant with her first child and due in January, but that her ground-breaking riding career will continue on following the birth.
Meech, who was last seen riding on April 12 when she booted home a double at Stawell, became the first female rider to win the Victorian jockeys’ premiership in 2018/19….
