Industry-super-linked ME Bank has been hit with a criminal lawsuit by the corporate regulator after thousands of home loan customers were incorrectly charged interest on mortgages.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission announced on Thursday it has launched a criminal lawsuit against the boutique lender for breaches of the National Credit Code and Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act.
