Matthew Wade axed for South Africa Test tour, uncapped BBL bolters named for NZ T20 series – SEN
The squads for both tours have been announced.
Matthew Wade has been axed from Australias Test squad for next months tour of South Africa.
Wade was dropped after a disappointing series against India where he scored 173 runs from eight innings at an average of 21.62.
The 33-year-old was instead named in Australias T20 tour of New Zealand.
Five uncapped players were named in the 19-man squad to face the Proteas with South Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey receiving his maiden Test call-up.
