Mass COVID-19 vaccine hub to open in Bendigo CBD – ABC News
Up to 1,000 people a day will be vaccinated in Bendigo when a new hub opens at the end of the month.
Central Victoria’s first mass vaccination clinic will open before the end of the month.
Key points:
- A high-volume vaccination hub will open in Bendigo by May 24
- The hub will be capable of vaccinating up to 1,000 people a day
- The site will be the only place in the Bendigo region to offer the Pfizer vaccine later this year
A former call centre on Mollison Street is being transformed into a hub with 40 cubicles, capable of vaccinating around 1,000 people per day.
It also has 80 car parks nearby.
