Marvell has announced that its new controller is ideal for SSD storage intended to serve the needs of professional cloud services. It, according to this company, is an industry first in that it supports the emerging NVMe 1.4b and PCIe 5.0 standards, and are thus related to deliver double the performance compared to PCIe 4.0-based solutions.
The OEM also asserts that the Bravera SC5 SSD controllers are associated with up to 14GB/s of throughput, as well as up to 2 million random-read I/O operations…
