Marlinyu Ghoorlie native title group in Goldfields celebrates recognition as traditional owners

The Federal Court, for the first time, has recognised Marlinyu Ghoorlie claimants as the traditional owners of an area spanning more than 89,000 square kilometres of WA’s Goldfields. 

The area includes Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Kambalda, Coolgardie, and extends west to Southern Cross in the Wheatbelt.
