Maritime museum is sinking because of Labor, opposition MPs say

“Despite direct pleas for the state Labor government to act, there is no mention or commitment made from the Palaszczuk government to provide further financial support,” he said.

“As one of Australia’s largest maritime museums, the QMM has an integral role in preserving Queensland’s history and heritage, and serves as a key tourism attractor.
“It would be an absolute tragedy to see such an iconic institution be lost, due to the failure of the current state Labor government to act.”
