The Blue Sox on Monday made reference to ”an ongoing medical issue that is preventing Manny from playing and training with the Sydney Blue Sox”.
Ramirez, who retired from the major leagues when hit with a second drug charge back in 2011, told the Herald it had nothing to do with illicit substances.
