Quarantine workers will have to get the Pfizer jab or be refused work under a mandatory vaccination plan by the McGowan government to reduce the risk of the virus escaping one of Western Australias COVID-19 hotels.
The rules, which are expected to be implemented over the next fortnight, will be similar to existing rules that require aged care workers to get flu vaccinations before taking on jobs in nursing homes.
