Man who allegedly threw girlfriend off Gold Coast high-rise committed to stand trial
Jayden Moorea has been committed to stand trial for the murder of former girlfriend, Breeana Robinson.
It is alleged he threw Ms Robinson over a high-rise balcony on the Gold Coast eight years ago.
Mr Moorea has faced a two-week committal hearing in the Southport Magistrates Court over the death of Ms Robinson, who died after plunging 11 storeys from a Southport apartment block in January 2013.
He has been charged with murder and damaging evidence with intent.
The trial will be held in Brisbane at a date yet to be confirmed.
More to come.
