Man who allegedly drove over woman ‘repeatedly’ in backyard ‘burnout’ charged with attempted murder

Detectives have charged a 27-year-old man with attempted murder after he allegedly drove over a woman “repeatedly” during a backyard burnout in Caboolture, north of Brisbane overnight.
Police said just after 11:00pm the man attended a Namatjia Court address in a white Nissan Patrol, and performed a “burnout” in the backyard.
When a 47-year-old Peachester woman — known to him — went to confront the driver, it is alleged he drove over her repeatedly, causing significant injuries to her left leg and foot.
It will be further alleged he drove over the property, before ramming a car.
