Man walks from home to end seven-hour siege

Heavily armed police officers were called to the Capalaba property at 9.30am this morning after the man allegedly barricaded himself inside the house after dousing the property in petrol. The man walked out of the house after seven hours of negotiations with police. The man was believed to be in the home alone, with police declaring an emergency situation at Finucane Rd in Capalaba, near Abelia St.Members of the public were advised to avoid the area and urged to follow the advice of emergency services…
