Man trapped after truck and car collide on Peak Downs Hwy
Emergency services were called to the crash at 8.09am near Spring Creek Road, southwest of Mackay. Both lanes of the highway are closed and Queensland Police are urging motorists to avoid the area as delays are expected for “some time”. A rescue helicopter is responding to the incident now and the man remains trapped, according to a spokeswoman from Queensland Police. More to come.
