Man taken to hospital after car flips and brings down power lines

A man is in the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital after the car in which he was allegedly driving on Friday night struck a pole in Red Hill.
The incident brought down power lines before the vehicle – a Suzuki Jimny – rolled onto its side.

The crash on Musgrave Road around 8pm caused major disruption to local traffic and significant damage to the small 4WD vehicle.
Photographs show one wheel almost ripped from the vehicle during the accident, while a badly bent pole on Musgrave Road was almost toppled.
