Man stranded in shark-infested Torres Strait waters with uncle said he knew they’d survive

Lui Billy believes his life-saving “miracle moment” came directly from God.
The 37-year-old and his 47-year-old uncle were cray-fishing last Wednesday when their dinghy took on water and sank.

They clung to a piece of plywood in a remote stretch of the Torres Strait as sharks swam nearby.
They were eventually spotted by the captain of the oil tanker MT Godam, who turned around to save them after seeing Lui’s yellow cap.
