Man poured petrol through Gold Coast home in DV incident

A man has been charged by police after a domestic violence incident where petrol was allegedly being poured throughout a home forcing an emergency to be declared on the Gold Coast.
Police have charged a 43-year-old Coomera man with a range of domestic violence offences after officers were called to a house on O’Reilly Drive, Coomera about 9.30pm Sunday where the man was allegedly threatening his partner.
Police say the man will front Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
The man was arrested and remains in custody.
He was charged with a range of domestic violence offences and was due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
