A generous patron has left an unbelievable tip at a COVID-hit restaurant after only having one beer to drink.
The man walked into Nighttown in Cleveland, Ohio on Sunday, before the restaurant was due to close voluntarily during the pandemic.
He ordered one beer before asking for the bill, which came to USD$7.02 (AUD$9.64), owner Brendan Ring wrote on Facebook.
Ring said the man then wished him well and told him to share the tip amongst the four wait staff that were on that day.
