Man killed after ute veers off highway
Police investigations suggest around 1pm the 34-year-old was travelling south on the New England Highway at Pinelands, north of Toowoomba when his ute veered off the road. The Glenaven man was the only person in the car and he died at the scene.The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.The man was the second person to die on the road in the Darling Downs region on Tuesday after a 62-year-old Dalby woman died when her van collided with a truck on the Warrego Highway at Brigalow.
