Man killed, 25-year-old fights for life after horror smash

Just after 2.30am, a Volkswagon Amarok travelled through the intersection of Dalrymple Road and Duckworth Street, Garbutt, and collided with a Mazda 3.The 50-year-old local man, who was driving the Mazda 3, died at the scene.The driver of the Volkswagon Amarok, a 25-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.Two passengers, one from each vehicle, were also transported to hospital suffering minor injuries.The intersection is expected to be closed for several hours as…
