A 40-year-old man is currently being hospitalised in South Australia with the highly contagious and heavy South African strain of Covid-19.
The patient, whose symptoms deteriorated while in hotel quarantine at the Tom’s Court medi-hotel, is now in the ICU at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
While his condition has remained stable overnight he is still critical remains in a critical condition in hospital in South Australia.
