Man in critical condition, teens threatened with machete in Qld

He was taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
In a separate incident, a group of teenagers claimed they were approached by a man and a woman on a boat at a Coochin Creek camping site on Saturday.
Two 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old woman were camping beside Hussey Creek when the man allegedly made threats while holding a machete before striking one of the boys on the head, causing him to lose consciousness.
The second boy received a cut during the attack.
This woman is believed to be in the company of Kendall Arthur Poole, whom police are searching for.
The man then smashed a number of the windows of the teenagers’ vehicle before slashing all four tyres.
