Man found dead in remote WA after pair heading to Aboriginal community abandoned 4WD

WA Police have found a man’s body during their search for two men whose car broke down in the state’s east.
Key points:
- The men were thought to be heading to the Wingellina community
- Their car was found abandoned three days after they set off
- Police say the search will continue while they identify the body
The two 20-year-old men were last seen more than a week ago, on February 8, in the Docker River Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory, near the West Australian border.
Police said they believed the men were travelling to the Wingellina Aboriginal community, about 200 kilometres away in WA, near where the South Australian, Western Australian and Northern Territory borders meet.
