Investigators believe a man who drove through a safety barrier in a multi-level car park, falling one storey, confused the vehicle’s accelerator with its brake.
A man has escaped without injury after driving his car through a safety barrier in a multi-level car park and falling one storey.
Police were called to an apartment block in Melbourne’s Queens Road about 8:00pm last night, where they found the vehicle wedged between the first and ground floors.
The driver, a 46-year-old man, was not injured.
Investigators believed the man confused the car’s accelerator and brake, but the investigation was ongoing.
