Man dies after car crashes into tree

Police say just before 3am this morning the 48-year-old man’s Toyota 86 coupe failed to turn at a bend on Amethyst Road and crashed into a tree.Paramedics from the Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene on Amethyst Road and River Road but the man died on scene.Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
