Man dies after being found unresponsive in Southport home on the Gold Coast

A man has died after being found unresponsive in a home on the Gold Coast.

Police were called to Beale St, Southport about 9.50pm on Saturday.

The 44-year-old unconscious man was initially taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital but later declared dead.
