Man denied bail after allegedly taking child from Brisbane home, sparking Amber Alert

A man accused of the alleged abduction of a 20-month-old Brisbane boy can be revealed as a former partner of the toddler’s mother.
The 31-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has appeared in Richland Magistrates Court on Monday.
He was charged with child stealing after allegedly taking the boy from a residence in Darra about 4.10am on Sunday.
The alleged abduction of the boy sparked an Amber Alert as Queensland police attempted to find him.
