Man dead, several others injured when 4WD and bus with students aboard collide

A man has died and another is in critical condition after a bus with students aboard and a 4WD collided near Gympie in south-east Queensland.
Emergency services were called to Kin Kin Road and Wilsons Pocket Road just before 4pm on Tuesday.
One patient was treated on the scene while a second was taken to Gympie Hospital in a critical condition.
Police said initial investigations indicated the bus and a Landcruiser collided at the intersection of Kin Kin and Wilsons Pocket roads in Wolvi and the passenger of the Landcruiser, a 29-year-old Goomboorian man, died at the scene.
The driver of the Landcruiser, a 68-year-old Goomboorian man, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
None of the students on the bus required hospitalisation….
