Man critical after collision north of Brisbane

Emergency services were called to Bribie Island Road in Ningi, near the Redondo St intersection, about 10.07pm. The pedestrian who was reportedly hit by the car sustained critical injuries and is being assessed by paramedics. The car involved remained on scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area with lengthy delays expected.
