Man charged with stabbing on Gold Coast

Police will allege that a verbal altercation occurred at around 4pm at a unit in Purli Street in Surfers Paradise before a 46-year-old resident of the unit received a single stab wound to his right quad from a small kitchen knife.The men were known to each other. The victim was transported to Gold Coast University hospital for treatment of the 2cm wound.
