Man charged over alleged murder of Meaghan Rose in 1997 has case heard in court for first time

A 72-year-old man accused of a decades-old cold case murder on the Sunshine Coast has had his matter briefly mentioned in court for the first time.

The body of Meaghan Louise Rose, 25, was found at the bottom of cliffs at Point Cartwright in 1997.
