Man charged after woman dies falling from ute in rural Queensland

A 19-year-old man has been charged after a woman fell from a vehicle in rural Queensland.
Police believe the 23-year-old woman from Linthorpe, near Toowoomba, fell from a ute while travelling west on Springvale Road at Springvale, in the Western Downs, just after 10pm on Friday.
Paramedics assessed the woman at the scene but she died from fatal injuries.
The 19-year-old Cooroy man allegedly driving the ute has been charged with failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis and driving with a person in part of a vehicle designed for the carriage of goods.
A forensic crash unit investigation is continuing.
