Man arrested, police hunt others after man attacked with baseball bats
One man has been arrested and police are searching for others after a man was attacked by a group of people wielding baseball bats in Brisbane’s southwest.
The 24-year-old was set upon by a group of people armed with bats in parklands off Rosemary Street at Inala just before 6.30pm on Saturday.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics for life-threatening head injuries, before being rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further treatment.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man nearby a short time after arriving at the scene. The man was taken to the Richlands watchhouse for questioning.
