Man airlifted with critical head injury after crash

A motorbike rider has been airlifted to hospital after a crash at Noosa Heads.

Police said the 54-year-old crashed between Sunshine Beach Road and Solway Driver about 10.30pm on Wednesday.

The man, who suffered a head injury, was taken to Noosa Hospital before he was airlifted to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

He remains in hospital.
