Man accused of murdering Newcastle teenager ‘extremely remorseful’, lawyer says
The man accused of the shooting murder of a Newcastle teenager is “extremely remorseful” and did not mean to kill him, his lawyer says.
Ekampreet Sahni Singh, 18, died when he was shot in a car park at Bar Beach about 11:40pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics treated Mr Sahni but he died at the scene.
