Man accused of Caboolture double murder in court, as friend describes victim

“Everyone loved Daytona because he was always making us laugh.
“He’s got heaps of brothers, friends and family back here that are absolutely shattered about the craziness that happened to him.”
A GoFundMe page has so far reached $7250 of its $10,000 goal to lay Mr Paul, said to be a father of two boys, to rest in Rotorua.
Police confirmed that Mr Bird lived at the unit where the shooting happened, while the two men who were shot lived at Burpengary.
Mr Bird was also accused of unlawful possession of weapons, possessing a shortened firearm and possession of explosives without authority.
The case was adjourned to May 31.
