Malthouse details open meeting with McGuire after shock Magpies exit
Three-time premiership coach Mick Malthouse has revealed he met with former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire to urge him to return to public life after his departure from the club.
McGuires 23-year tenure at the Magpies came to a close in February with the president resigning following the leaking of the Do Better report which found systematic racism at the club.
