Major update after Matthew Pascoe’s ‘suspicious’ death in room at Nerang’s Hinterland Hotel on the Gold Coast

A man has been charged with murder over the “suspicious” death of a man in a hotel room.

Matthew Pascoe, 35, was found unresponsive in a room at Hinterland Hotel on Station St in Nerang, on the Gold Coast in Queensland, about 11.15am on Saturday.

He died in the room.
