Major emergency rescue following boat capsizing off Main Beach on the Gold Coast

Three people have been rescued after a boat capsized after being hit by a large wave at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.

The incident occurred just before 6am on Friday, with emergency services currently on the scene.

The boat capsized off Muriel Henchman Drive, according to Sunrise.
