Major blow for Australians in UK after UAE blacklisted by British Government because of coronavirus strain
The travel plans of many Australians attempting to flee the coronavirus-stricken United Kingdom are in disarray after the British Government banned flights from a major international hub.
Key points:
- Major carriers Etihad and Emirates will not be permitted to enter the UK
- Passengers will be able to rebook flights, meaning returning Australians will have their plans changed again
- It comes as Britain passed 100,000 COVID-19 related deaths this week
