Mad Max film Furiosa has Silverton excited about a return to the silver screen
The champagne has been flowing in Silverton following news the Mad Max movie franchise is returning to Far West NSW.

The outback town, located near Broken Hill, was put on the map when Mad Max 2 was made there in 1981 and residents are optimistic history will be repeated when filming begins for Furiosa, the prequel to 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road.
