M1 crash at Gold Coast causes major traffic delays on Pacific Motorway as ladder falling off ute

A major Queensland motorway is closed after a serious crash involving several vehicles, including a motorcyclist.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Nerang just before 6am on Monday.
It’s believed the motorcyclist became trapped after being hit by a four-wheel-drive.
RACQ said a ladder that fell off a ute caused the crash.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said a male was treated for critical injuries.
No one else was injured.
