Luckless star granted perfect chance to audition for AFL lifeline
Former No. 1 draft pick Paddy McCartin will return to the footy field in 2021 after he signed with the Sydney Swans VFL team ahead of the revamped competitions launch.
McCartin spent the past two years on the sidelines after managing just 35 games in five seasons at St Kilda due to constant concussion issues and setbacks.
The 24-year-old had attracted interest from several Victorian clubs late last year as he looked to revive his AFL career, but was ultimately overlooked.
