Lovely morning here in Noosa with a light 3 to 5 knot WNW breeze blowing at the river mouth. Little or no swell on the bar. Pretty much glassed out in the bay. Small pod of whales very near the bar. One adult hanging in close behind the sand bar on the North Shore side of the channel. Not moving much which is unusual. Notified Coast Guard who advised that they’d referred it to the relevant authority, whoever that is. Filmed between 5.20am and 6.20am which was just coming up to a 0.64m low tide. BOM forecast is for north to north easterly winds about 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15 knots in the early afternoon. Background Music: ‘Morning Joe’… by Patiño. www.fishingnoosa.com.au
