Love thy neighbour: bitter feud erupts between Pilbara, Altura – The Australian Financial Review
It could soon be lawyers at ten paces at the Altura Lithium Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Embattled lithium play Altura was in negotiations with its lenders for months, struggling under a debt laden capital structure designed when lithium prices and forecasts were much rosier.
Altura thought it had solved its problems on Sunday night, when it was putting the finishing touches on a $150 million equity recapitalisation to reduce that debt and give itself some breathing room.
