Through the trade period, youll hear values thrown around – oh, hes worth a second-round pick and so on – but how do we actually work that out?
Theres no one answer. Clubs will have their own values for certain players and selections, while theres also the AFLs Draft Value Index, which was created for Academy bidding but also gives us a rough guide on how much each pick is worth.
