Cronulla will head into the finals having lost every match against their finals rivals after losing to a Raiders side missing almost all of its stars.

Sharks coach John Morris said he was missing a host of his regulars as well (including Shaun Johnson, Chad Townsend, Jackson Ferris, Matt Moylan, Josh Dugan and Sione Katoa) and their motivation was all about next week, not trying to avoid some pre-finals history.
