A first-up tangle with All-Australian defender Harris Andrews wont deter Sydney coach John Longmire from handing gun draftee Logan McDonald a round-one AFL debut.
McDonald, the No.4 pick at last years draft, is one of three Swans youngsters in the mix to play their first senior matches against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday night at the Gabba, along with impressive academy graduates Errol Gulden and Braeden Campbell.
